Dr.
Robert Finkelstein practices in a state-of-the-art
facility in Peabody Massachusetts and treats
patients from all over Boston's North Shore including
Danvers, Salem, Beverly, Wakefield, and beyond.
A native of Boston and an
honor
graduate of the Boston Latin School, Dr.
Finkelstein attended
Tufts College and graduated from the Tufts University School
of Dental Medicine, cum laude in 1966. Prior to
graduation he was honored with his selection to
the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa
Upsilon. Following graduation from Tufts University
School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Finkelstein volunteered
to serve for two years on active duty as a Captain
with US Army Dental Corps during the Vietnam era.
Upon return from US Army active duty, Dr. Finkelstein
was invited to be a member of the faculty of the
Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He began
his private practice of Cosmetic and General Dentistry
in 1968 and concurrently taught Restorative and
General Dentistry at Tufts University School of
Dental Medicine as an Associate Clinical Professor.
Dr. Finkelstein was invited to serve as a visiting
Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University
of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and also served
as a visiting Professor with the Western Ireland
Foundation of Dentists and he has lectured throughout
Ireland and in The Netherlands. He has been a career
member of the American Dental Association, The Massachusetts
Dental Society and The North Shore District Dental
Society. Dr. Finkelstein participates in the Continuing
Education Registry of the Massachusetts Dental Society
and has attended continuing education courses throughout
the United States and abroad.
